COMPACT SHELVING

In order to address the problem of shortage of shelving space, the CCE Library has resorted to the use of compact shelves. The compact shelf, otherwise known as mobile cabinet, has the capacity to house more books than the ordinary shelf, is placed just after the reference collection. Indeed, some of the reference materials numbering R660 - R960 occupy the immediate 2 bays of the mobile cabinet. Other open materials with Call Number ranging from 001.302090 – 194 are accommodated in the remaining 6 bays of the cabinet. Please feel free to ask for assistance if necessary.

CALLING MED FLEXI MODE STUDENTS!

It has been observed that some of the continuing MED flexi-mode students do not have their names in the Library database. This has the negative implication of creating problems for the library to assist you adequately. In order to forestall this, we hereby wish to appeal to all continuing students, especially those who may be left with their research work only to ensure that you register with the university so that you can be recognized as bonafide students and in turn be registered with the library. It has not been easy serving all of those who have not registered as they are not entitled to library benefits, for example borrowing library materials, using computers and searching databases etc.
